The stone looks like it says Mercy Churchell, although according to the information on Find-a-Grave, it is Churchill. In fact, that entry, by Michael Harrington, is quite detailed and lists that “Inscription:
Wife of Deacon Winslow Feb 21, 1863 87y 8d, DAR Marker, Mercy Dodge Churchill, daughter of a Revolutionary War soldier, Erected by Anna Harmon Chapter, DAR, 1934
Note: Mercy Dodge married Deacon Winslow Churchill on Thanksgiving Day 1796.” Mr. Harrington also includes information about her, including that she was born on June 15, 1774 in Rutland, Vermont.
